I would like to make some additions to your thread.


July 4th and 5th is the most busiest times for emergency rooms. Not only from firework accidents but alcohol, water drownings, heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and food poisoning.

This holiday is the most highest for lost and runaway pets because they get scared.

We also have residents that suffer from PTSD, sometimes for serving in a war, sometimes it's from other trauma related events.

Then neighbors buy made in China fireworks to celebrate America's birthday. Class 4 fireworks can't be purchased in our state, but neighbors drive all the way to PA or wherever and buy them. I'd rather give to an animal shelter. At least it's items that are useful and for a good cause.


This shit started last night. I started weeding last night around 8pm when it started cooling off and off go these loud fireworks.

I didn't get much yardwork done.
