(79,527 posts)This may sound like the long arm of coincidence yanking itself out of socket, but consider this ..... it was in 1976, which was Uncle Sam's 200th birthday, that the two-part movie "Sybil" was released. It was the true story of a fictional case of multiple personality disorder, with the main characters all being played by a Flying Nun. Immediately, hundreds of viewers with borderline personality disorder were quite sure that the suffering they inflicted upon family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and complete strangers on the edge of town were certain their behavior was not their fault.
Is it possible -- indeed, likely -- that this first time visitor was actually another personality hosted by the exact same human being that splattered nonsense a very short time earlier? I'd say "see post 20," but alas, it is gone. And what if these "two" identies shared the exact same features? A historic first.
