48. It's death and destruction, and it's stupid.

Do you not understand the damage that this shit causes? Do you have any wildlife around you? Do you have any pets? Do you give a shit about ANYONE else other than yourself and a few snap, crackles and pops? Ever seen a house go up in flames? Ever driven down the roads the next day and actually looked for the dead animals?

How about spending the money on something useful? Buying fireworks (which aren't cheap) is literally watching your money go up in smoke.

If you absolutely HAVE to see some fireworks, at least go to one of the professional displays.

It's seriously utter stupidity. And yes, all of that can happen in just ONE night. Can't believe someone on DU is actually arguing about this.
