Just think of the people dying of Covid still in denial.

The problem with admitting climate change is real is that it collapses the rest of their mental universe-

1) That capitalism is good

2) That god is sheparding the human species and has a plan etc

3) That the left is always wrong

So theyd have to acknowledge their foundational beliefs are bullshit.
