IMO his "commie campaign" is probably largely aimed at Latino immigrant families in Florida and elsewhere. I think he has been losing support among them due to cost of living, deportations, etc. Of course hanging around Mag-a-Loco he knows that area is heaviliy populated by Cuban refugee families. A few years ago I heard on CNN that South Florida is continuously targeted with anti-communist propaganda. Invading Cuba could garner some Latino support at least among the Cuban refugees.
