we use pumped fighting rhetoric to promote the notion of commitment to overcome. But we don't actually fight

I'm a PHD and worked as a Public Health Officer in vaccination programs and in food and waterborne disease and in UNivrsity Educaiton. We NEVER fought, even though we saw specific diseases a things that had to be stopped

WE WORKED. The Medical Researchers WORKED. The Public Health Nurses WORKED, Medical Doctors WORKED Long hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It was tiring and often frustrating, some people, and some politicians sought to deter us from paths we felt should be followed.

But the reality of the history is, we didn't fight certainly we didn't fight people. I and my colleagues in Wisconsin PH never attempted to subdue our opponents through force. Although MAGA will claim we tried to physically force them to do things they didn't want to. Mostly we didn't. We did turn to the courts at times, not to compel non-compliers to our view, but to protect the public from communicable diseases.

Compliance was the goal, and it was primarily achieved through education The other side did and does fight. Mostly in courts and through politics because they wanted us and our efforts to be subdued
