If in 2000 Bush had gotten a fraction of the scrutiny to expose his many lies that Trump is now getting, President Gore would've had his 8 years in the White House and it would not have been close enough in Florida for the GOP controlled SCOTUS to stop the legal Florida vote count to appoint him.
