My sister, for instance, had paid off much more than her original loan. But because she was mostly paying interest, even after decades of paying she still owed almost the same as her original loan.

The U.S. government and private lenders made a ton of money off people who just wanted to get a degree. It was predatory lending.

Biden did the right thing and should have been allowed to continue. The billionaire-owned "news" media misrepresented the loan forgiveness program as a way to upset people, turn on their resentments and racism, and get them to vote for Trump.

They do this with everything, they ruin everything.
