Well, for many months His Majesty had been looking forward to his version of a Celebration about which he, once again, deceived himself and his shrinking band of followers/subjects/hypnotized slaves into believing that this would be the extravaganza to end all extravaganzas.
Of course, as usual, he fell woefully short of the mark and it’s fortunate that it wasn’t even more of a disaster than it was.
That being said, he is going to be channeling all of his pent-up frustrations towards whomever he perceives at the moment to be another of his mortal enemies. He is going to be enraged and even more irrational and uncontrollable. The problem for us is that no matter what theoretical line he may cross, it no longer matters one whit: for the MSM it is just another day, for his fans, he’s “doing good for Amurika”, and for us it’s fulfilling our expectations of “lower and lower with no end in sight”.
He was expecting a big lift and instead he once again got nailed. “Hell hath no fury as a Trump scorned”. Congreve wrote that, he really did…all the printings of his works have contained a misprint for 400 years. Everyone knows this.
It’s gonna be a long week in my opinion
