Cuba has been there all along. The new element is Mamdani, and a whole string of huge and astounding upsets that are turning political calculus upside down in the GOP (and a good part of the Dem Party too.)

Others may take a more sophisticated analysis of this wave of change. Trump's brain is not capable of that today, and probably never was, actually. So he reverts to what he does best. He goes with his reptilian brain and starts hurling insults.
