In reply to the discussion: Will Russia use a tactical nuke in Ukraine? [View all]LogDog75
(1,512 posts)54. Why would the radiate a country they want to takeover?
The purpose of taking over another country is to control the wealth of the country's natural resources and people. If you are Russia, would you want to nuke Ukraine nuclear radiation making the countryside, towns, and cities uninhabitable much like the Chernobyl nuclear meltdown did in the area around Pripyat, Ukraine in 1986 which is still contaminated and uninhabitable today.
Also, if a nuclear weapon was used, what would the weather conditions be to prevent the fallout from being blown into Russia.
No, I don't think Putin would use nuclear weapon on Ukraine. IMO, if he tried, I think the Russian generals would take him down real quick because they understand the no-win scenario that decision would mean to their country.

OK, I'll play your silly game. Nuking Kiev "would not affect the whole country"? Really? Based on what exactly?

I think you intended to get attention, as so often. But you don't seem to like it when you get it.

But you don't answer questions when asked. So you select what you want to "discuss".
