45. Actually, I believe they're trying to ride out a deadline so there can't be a replacement named.

Wednesday

Something about no elections after a certain period before a scheduled election. Don't want to have anyone appointed, or someone elected, who might not be on their side, you see. Democrats should insist there be a public, verification statement from him. Should not be hard if he's on the phone to his "colleagues" this much. Someone needs to go see him, breathing and cognizant, or call for an election to replace him.
