As long as there are still seats available for the “base” money travelers let the other passengers pay more for a better experience.
The majority of flight paths are designed for the business travelers that are being covered by corporate expense accounts. Of course the airlines will cater to them.
As long as I can get from point A to point B, I can be uncomfortable for a few hours. Without the higher paying customers those flights probably wouldn’t be possible, or as convenient.
