The vote on Blanche is a tell on the Republicans... [View all]

The guy is a criminal and is being nominated to be the Attorney General of the United States. As acting Atty-General, he has made a mockery of the laws of this country. He is up to his eyeballs in covering up the Epstein files and Pam Bondi admitted that he was the person in charge of the Epstein investigation. He made a special trip to the prison that Ghislaine Maxwell was held and had her moved to a country club prison in Texas with all the benefits. He has refused to turn over all the Epstein files, as required by law. If the Republicans do not care about that, they do not care about anything.

But the Epstein files are only the tip of the iceberg with all the other laws he has broken or ignored. He is Trump's personal lawyer and is supported "100%" by Donald Trump. I'm sure he is.

Republicans have the opportunity to show just a smidgeon of independence from the lawbreakers but I would suggest that no one hold their breath, waiting for that to happen.

The thing is, they have nothing to gain with the confirmation of Todd Blanche, except the temporary support of Donald Trump, their criminal Leader. But that will tell us all we need to know.
