21. NPR aired his background story this morning.

They reported on how his ex wife tried to warn ICE of his violence. He hit and choked her during their marriage and one time put a gun to her head, threatening to kill her. She told ICE about his PTSD from war and his earlier diagnosis of bipolar disorder. ICE dismissed her warnings as sour grapes from an ex wife.

After the shooting, he called her and told her not to speak out to a anyone about his violence during their marriage. She said that she told him that she would speak the truth and not lie for him. She wants to go public about his violence in order to prevent future such shootings by him and to make people aware of ICE hiring practices.

Brave woman.
