A person like this murderer would not be able to carry a weapon under some versions of red flag laws -- whether because of a history of serious mental illness or domestic violence.

Trumpists only want transgender people to be prohibited from having access to guns. That is why, if you know a trans person who might want one in the future, they should make a purchase as soon as possible before the federal regulations change (in August, iirc).
