Theres some things done well (use of Yucatec Maya, some of the artistic depictions, scenes of small village life and the relationships between larger cities and small villages).
But historically, its a disaster. And the violence is off the charts bad (Im a historian of Mexico and an expert on its indigenous populations, women and violence)

I was always amazed at how many loved Braveheart. I have tried repeatedly and just can't finish it.
