Protesters in downtown Omaha marched to the College World Series on Friday in a demonstration against recent immigration crackdowns in Omaha and beyond.
More than 100 protesters filled the sidewalks on both sides of 10th Street between Cuming and Mike Fahey Streets ahead of the first pitch of the second game of the College World Series between Louisville and Oregon State.
Protesters first gathered at Lewis & Clark Landing before marching toward Charles Schwab Field at 5 p.m.
The protest came three days after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained more than 70 workers at the Glenn Valley Foods meatpacking plant near 68th and J Streets.

Protesters pass by Omaha police during a march to the College World Series on Friday.
