if Im not really impressed when a billionaire throws the equivalent of scraps. This isnt even about her. What shes doing is good, but shes still a billionaire and I fundamentally think a system is shit if it has to rely on the wealthy for people not to starve. Thats a failed society imo.
Its about how this site selectively sings the praises of the ultra wealthy when they agree with our politics, yet often dont question how fucked up our system is in the first place, when it enables this kind of accumulation of wealth.

Many of the foodbanks are run by churches and community volunteers, who deserve our support
