But most cops don't deescalate anything (see: John Crawford III). They shoot first, ask questions never.
The bodies are piled higher than a ten story building by cops that did and said whatever they wanted and nothing happened to them. (See: Edward Bronstein)

Saying you will hold them to the same standards as regular police is no standard at all.
