Further, Trump has already posted on Truth Social that he wants Cornyn/Paxton to work things out. By that they most likely mean Trump will make an endorsement, and the other candidate will drop out. We could absolutely use that primary to let them tear each other apart for a couple months. If he pulls Paxton (gives him another role), and lets Cornyn have the spot - then we have James Talarico, a 36-year-old state rep, running against a seasoned senator who has been in office two decades and is a republican in TX.

You tell me. Who is the underdog?
