Then we'd have a D majority that could make some waves NOW. I'm not very hopeful about the November elections - how much voter interference there'll be, whether we'll have a State of Emergency/martial law, etc. So a couple of elderly or ill R Congressmen retiring now would be lovely, and they could spend more time with their family.
