31. This is just theater and a failing brain. The real question is ...

Why was he there at all, and not on NewsMax.

Maybe it is to impress the 30% of the population that wants to hang with him, but is having doubts. From inside that wasteland that is called Trump's brain, that very well may be all it is.

However, he had a terrible week. He continues to hemorrhage support among the public. The war is a complete mess. And his biggest problem is that Congressional Republicans are starting to run away from him because the election is now just 5 months away, and 2 of those months are "dog days" when nothing happens. So basically the GOP senators and reps are looking at polls that are lousy. Even if an individual is not in jeopardy, they have no interest in being in the minority. They see nothing positive in June. July and August are basically lost to summer vacations. So they see a 30-day period in September to try to improve their situation before early voting starts. Time is running out, and Trump keeps getting worse.

Therefore, that might be why Trump was on NBC instead of Fox. His people know that if the Dems take even one house, the agenda is over, and if the Dems take both houses, there will be a lot of activity collecting evidence and sworn testimony that can be used to prosecute these criminals if we take the White House in 2029. So these insiders are ready to jump ship. They want no part of the last 2 years if the election goes badly.

My theory is that the insiders pushed Trump to go on NBC in a "Let Trump be Trump" moment.
