show me where LE showing up at someone's door is defined as 'assault'
(except when we're engaged in freewheeling 'chat' sessions ... and embellishing ... running a line ... )
And secondly - when did we arrive at the idea that LE needed a warrant to 'talk' to someone? Misleading, misinformed and misguided ...
(You do of course have the right not to speak to officers - providing you're gutsy enough to exercise ... But the idea that you have been assaulted - or subject to ''warrantless' action ... Again ... Whoooosh ! That just ain't the way it works !)
