8. I was behind a Waymo in an alley yesterday

There were a few obstacles including dumpsters and oncoming traffic. The Waymo was quite "unsure." Toward the end of the alley, the car did stop and wait for a pedestrian to cross into the Trader Joe's parking lot. The pedestrian actually waved to thank the Waymo. It made me happy that the default for some people is still civility.
