I always assumed a candidate who has never held elected office would be thoroughly vetted, especially for a high-profile US Senate seat. Opposition research is a massive industry, and it is incredibly frustrating that this keeps happening.

With the July 13 deadline to replace a nominee on the ballot fast approaching, the campaign and the party need to figure out the best path forward to defeat Collins immediately. Hoping they have a real plan because this trickle of headlines is unsustainable.
