Well it depends on how you define "recession".

I'd say we're already in a contraction, and it will continue as long as the tariffs are ridiculously huge.

Si if and when tariffs return to sanity, we might soon thereafter resume growth, how long would determine if it qualifies as a recession or not.

But a contraction is guaranteed for as long as tariffs are at this crazy level.
