3. I once bought a car from a salesman who kept negotiating with himself.

He would text me with a lower price; I wouldn't respond, (or couldn't a few times) and he would message me saying he was working on a lower price. I eventually got a superb deal on the car, and I had never had to make a counter-offer. I went to the dealership a few months later for something, and he was no longer there. Not surprised; he was a terrible salesman.
