What do you do with coins? [View all]

I simply don't carry any loose change any more. My debit card is for everything.

I took all my quarters I had in jars to the bank and exchanged them for paper money. They gave me paper sleeves for future use. I now have them for my collection of dimes but I have an ominously full glass jar of pennies.

Does anybody else separate and keep jars or paper sleeves for redemption of coins at the bank?

I''d like to give the pennies away but it seems like a stupid thing to do, to burden someone else with the job.

Any ideas?
