They get most of our coins which we put in a tin for each of them and they love it. A few years back we gave them all banks with the coin counter thing on top. I spend mostly cash. There is also a wishing well in town which I feed regularly. And I always have ten bucks worth of quarters in both our vehicles for car washing. And we save quarters in a tin to spend at garage sales. Id be lost without having coins to fool with.

I've had them forever, maybe over 20 years since we've lived in our house. It is a huge jar, now about full.

O..actually a great idea to make sure they get their carts back. I see them far away from the store sometimes

Nowadays I (infrequently) use the Coinstar kiosk/machine in the local supermarket
