Bad Day at Black Rock is an odd one-- kind of noir, but also a western.

Another interesting kind of mashup is Lured, which is Lucille Ball in postwar London tracking a serial murderer.

In a Dark Place is kind of a classic noir-- set in LA, starring Bogart. There are a lot of intriguing "inside Hollywood" references.
