19. high school: typing (I hear that's obsolete.) middle school: printing and drafting/mechanical drawing

My middle school had mandatory occupational classes for both boys and girls.

home economics, sewing, woodworking, power & metal, drafting, printing

I got my first real access to a computer in shop class (power & metal).
