Have you ever had a test performed for Celiac disease or any food allergies?

I'm not saying that's what you have but both Celiac disease and Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (NCGS) are linked to depression and mental health issues. The highest percentage is 46% depression symptoms for those that have Celiac disease, I'm not sure what the percentage is for NCGS.

Gluten consumption can trigger depression and psychological distress in sensitive people. There is a gut and brain relationship in our bodies.

Also, Type 1 diabetics have a significantly higher risk (about 6%) of having celiac disease but there's no direct link between type 2 diabetes and celiac disease or gluten intolerance.

I'm a NCGS myself. There's no test for that. There's no blood, saliva or stool test for NCGS either no matter what any medical licensed individual claims. I had to introduce an elimination diet on myself about 9 years ago.

I didn't have depression but I had a multitude of other issues with gluten consumption.

Something to consider. Sending positive vibes your way.
