6. I *LOVE* Der Rosenkavalier.

Richard Strauss, IMNSHO, wrote the most beautiful music for the female voice. The final scene is just glorious and heavenly.

I don't rate operas, but this genius opera in the spirit of The Marriage of Figaro by one of Strauss' favorite composers (and mine) is right at the top along with it.
