... my wife told me she figured out my place in the companies I worked for. I wasn't blue collar or white collar; I was gold collar. You were the gold guitar pick, the gold keyboard, and you actually knew how to arrange music, which a lot of musicians never get down at all. You understand what Leonard Cohen wrote, "it goes like this, the fourth, the fifth, the minor falls, the major lifts".
