Dad I have idea for the Mexican Strat , both boys are up,as our one son has to go today with his aunt to visit his biological father. So as I sat and listened to the ideas,
The first idea is for the Mexican Strat awesome guitar as is stock but yes I agree my child we can improve on it.
Dad - we can rebuild it make it better like Steve austin the six million dollar man.
The boys - Huh what is a six million dollar man dad and who is Steve austin.
Dad - never mind guys let me hear what you got as I watch the keurig do its thing.
My child - grabs his phone and shows me these Seymour Duncan’s 69 pickups now dad we go to our guy who builds and winds custom pickups. and we have him build us a set with pots and wiring.
Dad - Hold on and I go to our work room and rummage around looking ( years ago a luthier/mom and pop music store went under because of evil guitar center and I bought a lot of pickups strings pots caps pennies on the dollar ) I found what I was looking for in a baggie labeled yup re issue 65 grey bottoms Strat single coils.
Child - awesome dad period wiring when do you wanna start on the mexi Strat.
Dad - lets let the sun rise first ok son shine
