Years ago I was foolish enough to attempt* to do a run similar to this on the top of Jackson Hole, WY
(Corbet's Couloir run)... I had such a bad feeling going up the ski lift to that run that I opted out, feeling horrible for deserting my male friend who did successfully complete it, but with several falls--one which could have been serious. While we used to do moguls together and I improved dramatically in my skills that year, I had no business on that run, so my "inner voice" likely saved me. He was considerably better than me, but still had great difficulty.

So, listen to your more rational inner voice, I'd say.
