3. Swalwell might not make it to the top two unless a bunch of the Dem candidates drop out soon

There are over a dozen Dem candidates, and just three Republicans.

California has a “jungle primary” where the top two vote getters advance to the general election.

I’m sure it is clear to see the mathematical disadvantages with the Dem vote being split among so many candidates.
