4. There's a truth about the rich and ultra rich I read somewhere

and have never forgotten. These are people without countries, without family, without friends, and without any sense of responsibility. They owe no allegiance to any man, woman, country, or business. Therefore, whatever they can do for themselves by themselves is the ultimate "good" to them. They are the counter answer to the old "No Man is an Island." These people ARE islands. I say they're islands of evil, but that's just me.

So many of us saw this coming when the government started allowing them to offshore business to cut down their costs. Their only answerability was to themselves and their shareholders. We didn't even make them pay taxes to their home countries! How really stupid are we?! The one place we could have demanded accountability, and we let them get away with taking as much as they want right off the top, while throwing their former American workers into the junk pile.
