Any behavior that hints that they are not in charge will be dealt with swiftly and brutally.
It is like the police are becoming Congress with Guns and an Attitude. We pay them, but the minute they get elected or hired, they no longer serve the people who put them there. Just the people with money. And their egos. Not all of them, but enough of them to really fuck up the lives of a lot of other people. With impunity.

I am at a loss as to how this can be fixed. Education - sounds good, but I can still remember going to a required sexual harassment class - what constituted sexual harassment - when working for a giant soulless corporation. One of my classmates, a supervisor who was a poster boy for sexual innuendo, said good! Maybe I can pick up some pointers! He treated the class as a joke.
