It is like the police are becoming Congress with Guns and an Attitude. We pay them, but the minute they get elected or hired, they no longer serve the people who put them there. I am at a loss as to how this can be fixed. Education - sounds good, but I can still remember going to a required sexual harassment class - what constituted sexual harassment - when working for a giant soulless corporation. One of my classmates, a supervisor who was a poster boy for sexual innuendo, said good! Maybe I can pick up some pointers! He treated the class as a joke.
