As Spotlight often points out, these judicial candidates are actually running for a "lifetime" position. Once these candidates get elected the first time, they are almost always re-elected continually until they finally retire. It's very unusual for a sitting judge to not win re-election. Therefore we have all the more reason to elect as many Democrats as possible, every opportunity.
