No big deal about Prince William and Prince Harry not walking side-by-side [View all]

en route to the Church at Windsor Castle for their grandfather's memorial.

If you look at the procession for their mother, Diana, you'll see the Earl of Spencer (their uncle, their mother's brother) was between them.

Plus from a Secret Service vantage, having heirs to the throne (I know, I know, Harry is #5 or so now) walking together would be a risk for assassination. And it's not out of the question; Lord Mountbatten was assassinated in a boat on a quiet lake.
