1. She has worked so long, and so hard, for so many years. Selflessly. Rest in peace.

I've been overwhelmed for some time by the catastrophe here, which the country could ill afford, and lost track of almost anything else.

I'm horrified to see in this article, peppertree, that Milei has gone after former President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

I most deeply hope she will outlast the worst of the country's radical fascist class which has been terrorizing good people for so many decades.

I found this YouTube video which shows the procession carrying the body of Taty Almeida down the street, turning at the corner of former President Cristina's apartment, and pausing while Taty Almeida's daughter speaks to Cristina after the former President came to say "goodbye" to the heroic lady after her long committment to peace and justice was finished.

I know Cristina has been the target of at least one assassination attempt I've seen in photographs, and has been hounded mercilessly since her first day in office, not to mention Macri's monstrous actions against her. I'm not sure she's safe anywhere in the world, considering the pure hatred these fascists have for everyone significant who has tried to bring peace to the entire country, instead of the 5%, at the great expense of all the others.

Taty Almeida lost her son to the regime which vaporized 30,000 Argentinian citizens, for anyone who never had heard, yet. The US Republican Party, and its Presidents, with Kissinger acting as the Secretary of State, strongly supported the regime, so US gov't hands are dirty, as well.

It's important to have seen your information, and know about this passing.

Thank you, so much, peppertree.

With her son.
