Investing in America: Hitting the Solar Jackpot - The White House [View all]

Investing in America: Hitting the Solar Jackpot is fifth installment of the U.S. Department of Energy’s clean energy job video series.

Dry Lake Solar is a new utility-scale solar + storage project located 20 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada. It harnesses the power of the sun to light up the “entertainment capital of the world,” and the power of clean energy to create over 200 good-paying union jobs.

Many of these workers come from a background in traditional energy sources, and are putting their skills to work in clean energy. The project was made possible because of the Inflation Reduction Act’s tax credits. - 01/03/2025.
