They can only understand snapshots of the present and do not acknowledge future trends, plans, or visions. If coal is currently the major source for hydrogen production, we're not supposed to understand that Solar & Wind energy can soon replace coal for this use, leading to redundant Wind/Solar systems backed up by hydrogen for net-zero emissions.
