Starting with no plastic straws or cutlery, made changes monthly like plant based trash bags, bamboo toothbrushes, combs, brushes, dehydrated laundry sheets in a box, pyrex or glass food containers instead of plastic or foil, small kitchen hand towels instead of paper, reusable grocery bags, cooking new dishes with more fresh produce, etc. Trash waste was drastically reduced, I lost weight and did my part to reduce carbon footprint. Now I shudder when seeing grocery carts loaded with huge plastic soap bottles and mega packs of paper towels. Too many of our neighbors just don't get it and won't survive the apocalypse.
