A side-effect of Putin’s attack on Ukraine was that a major improvement for farm animals in Europe at least - a ban on cages, fell by the wayside 
.
That was so disappointing..Compassion in World Farming was I think one of the groups pushing for it (they are awesome)..That really bummed me out..
