Lots of reasons .
(remember tho its pure politics and tomorrow he could very well change his mind .)

Lapid has a huge ego , sharing power isnt his thing , especially if Golan gets more seats than he does .

Lapid represents the middle class and money .......there is no ideology apart from that .
