Trump is teflon on his praise of tyrants as exemplified by his four years in office. I see no evidence whatsoever that his praise of Putin at this time will affect his following at all. Recall the "I'd rather be a Russian than a democrat" t-shirts and all the Russian's associated with his admin. There was no blow back from the vast majority of repubs including leadership in the Senate and House. None, zero, nada.
