10. Personally, I find these claims of government consiracies to be an insult to good Democrats

Except during those times when the positor has legitimate psychiatric issues.

For people to claim chem trails or FEMA camps or any other massive control program is at work is to ignore the logistics behind such an undertaking and the fact that good people are being accused of complicity.

Some of the people claiming, "ZOMG! They're gonna bug-spray our minds and lock us all in sleep-away band camp!" will turn right around and tell you, "Obama and Pelosi are our true champions!" when they're in GD.

What they seem to forget is that from 2007 until 2011 Nancy Pelosi led congress. ALL spending bills crossed her desk. She would either be monumentally oblivious of the prgrams and the requisite funding or she is part of the scheme. Remember, she was part of the oversight committee that knew about CIA black sites, etc. There is nothing she is not privy to regardless of which party occupies the WH.

Speaking of the WH: are we to believe the construction and maintenance of FEMA camps continues under Obama's watch? After all, FEMA is an executive agency. What good would these camps do to the alleged PTB if there was a president unwilling to give the order (PTB that, BTW, can rig elections with supposed impunity)?

But go ahead and say, "Eh...I'm not keen on Obama or Pelosi over policy X" and you will be greeted by howls that you're selling us out to the nefarious powers. Yet, the conspiratorialists imply Obama and Pelosi and Reid and Sanders and Kiucinich and Grayson and Feingold and *insert name of solid progressive here* are blithely signing-off year-after-year on some impending authoritarian coup.

One wonders why the CTers are here when some RW militia site would be better suited to countering the presumed threat.
